Andy Bussen

Andrew Bussen is a Principal of Strata Real Estate. He brings 25+ years of diversified real estate experience to the team. With an extensive background in commercial real estate appraisal, he has analyzed numerous property types including single-family residential, multi-family, office, retail, hotel, medical facilities, senior housing, industrial/warehouse and development land.

His personal experience as an investor in multi-family, office, development land and spec-home development reflects a unique understanding of the risk/reward position of owning real estate and investor expectations. Part of his expertise is identifying value-add opportunities and market repositioning to maximize value for clients.

Educated at the highly-regarded Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he has extensive knowledge and experience in real estate finance and investment analysis.

He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Wisconsin, Idaho and California, as well as a Certified General Appraiser in Wisconsin and California. Prior to organizing Strata Real Estate, he has also worked with Ernst & Young LLP, CB Richard Ellis and PGP Valuation, Inc. He has brokered transactions involving a wide variety of property types in many different geographic areas.
